A research workshop and Council meeting was organized in London by Prof. Bill Barnes.

The workshop gave the opportunity to present and discuss the results in the on-going research projects of the Network. These events are essential to strengthen the interaction between the members of the Network. Again the numerous presentations emphasized the progress made in the field of plamonics by the participants.

Various business issues, including the long-lasting character of the Network, were addressed in the Council meeting.
